Internet stalking has reached a new level. As of May 24th, 2008, Facebook officially announced a new security setting that allows users to track the number of visits to their profile. The setting allows the user to identify the specific profile who is viewing their profile as well. This new feature will be added under applications in the privacy settings.

Though it will be completely optional, some fear user traffic will decrease significantly due to fear of exposure.
