Mike Tattoo, Big Ant, Johnny O, Batso, Sal, Angel, and Des. These hard-asses volunteer at the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty Toward Animals and scope out areas to prevent animal abuse. Soon they’re going to start visiting public schools to educate kids on being nice to animals.

You can read about them here. I should send this story to my dad for another example of how a lot of people with tattoos actually are not the anti-christ.
dis wittle echidna juss wans to be fwee okay?!
This clip is taken from National Geographic’s Animals in the Womb, a series about looking at babies of all types before they are born. This particular section shows human kiddos — twins, triplets, and quadruplets. They’re calling it 4-D because it’s in real time.
Found while wandering in an entry on womb animals in wtf nature on livejournal. That community may not be safe for work. Take care when clicking links to pictures.
A race horse got euthanized at the end of the Kentucky Derby because she broke both of her front ankles. The doctors that checked her said she would not have been able to walk again and that it is fucking painful to have just one ankle be broken. People are PISSED about this. PETA is going after the 20 year-old jockey for doing his job and freaking the shit out of him.
That’s not the only thing that’s being talked about with this death: “they” are now checking the horse’s body for steroids. Eight Belles was big for a filly, leading some to point fingers at the trainer. Weird. His response is along the lines of a wtf face. She was the first filly since 1999 to run in the Derby.
Barbaro, the 2006 Derby winner, was put down last year at three years old due to an injured hind leg. Had he recovered he may have been worth 30 million dollars.
