how is blog formed?

Wednesday, August 31st, 2011

Wait, I have a blog? WHAT IS THIS?

Lots of shit has been going down in these parts:

  • My band has been playing shows and recording an EP that still needs a final mixing.
  • I made the cover art, too. I am the bat.
  • My photography website will be moved to haddadinkphotography.com in a few days.
  • The BJB has designed my website and we’re waiting on my graphic designer’s final logo to throw up there.
  • I gave my cat a haircut.
  • I am ever closer to finishing my personal training certification. Need a program tailored to you? I can do that.
  • I just got a painting commission from a musician and am thoroughly excited.
  • Over 1000 miles have been put on my motorcycle since I got it. I learned how to change its chain and sprockets as well as attach the gear shift and adjust the rear brake. Cuz I’m fly. Ilu Riding Illini.
  • PICKUPTRUCKWOOOO

The summer has mostly been about the band, the website, the photos, and the studying. All parts have taken over my life at different time periods. Today’s email exchange with my web designer is probably one of my favoritest.

We’re friends!

Just finished the funniest commission so far for a friend and client. I can’t wait for it to dry for a portfolio shot! Maybe prints. At least the detail of all the textures will come through in that shot.
GAREGGG
I hope to see him in future doodles and drawings. The friend asked me to come up with something that was essentially what I envision when I think of him. Apparently this means I have a little cyclops running around in my brain. He loves the picture I sent him, and we’re waiting on the little guy to dry to finish up transactions.

I’m applying to some places for administrative assistant duties and have had two responses so far. Unfortunately, they were scamming robot people without real companies. Hopefully the rest are real and interested in my skills laying down the law and keeping things in order while taking orders. With a smile on my face. Please hire me.
